Refunds
The short version: if something went wrong with your purchase, we will put it right.
This is a plain-language draft prepared for the author’s review. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.
What you bought
Lifetime access to a digital essay, opened to you immediately after payment. Because the full text is available the moment you pay, refunds work a little differently than for physical goods.
If something went wrong
Charged but no access, charged twice, or a technical fault on our side: contact us within 14 days of the charge and you will receive a full refund, no questions asked.
If you changed your mind
Write to us within 14 days and tell us what happened. Because the complete essay is delivered at purchase, change-of-mind refunds are at our discretion, but we read every request and err on the side of the reader.
How refunds are paid
Through Stripe, back to your original payment method, typically within 5 to 10 business days. A refund ends the lifetime access that the payment bought.
