One payment buys lifetime personal access to the full essay on this site, including every future revision. There is no subscription and nothing recurring. 10% of proceeds are donated to effective altruism.

Your account

Sign-in is by email magic link; there is no password. Your access is tied to the email address you paid with, so keep access to that inbox. If you change addresses, contact us and we will move your access.

Fair use of the text

Access is personal. The essay remains the copyright of its author. Please do not copy, redistribute, or republish it, in whole or in substantial part. Quoting brief passages with attribution is welcome.
